Lamborghini Reventon boasts configurable displays

It looks like Lamborghini's new extremely limited Reventon won't have any trouble attracting attention inside or out, with its eye-catching exterior backed up by a fully tricked-out interior, including "completely customizable" displays. In addition to displaying all the usual vehicle-related information, they can even be used to display a g-force meter, which is apparently a first for the company. As for the rest of the vehicle, you'll get a mid-mounted 6.5-liter V12 engine that's been up-rated for 650 horsepower, along with some new lightweight carbon-fiber body panels that promise improved aerodynamics, which together should push it to a top speed of 211 miles per hour. What's more, while only twenty of the vehicles will be built in the 2008 calendar year, the company says that the Reventon "is not destined to remain a one-off, " although we'd still expect it to remain a pretty exclusive club. Much more in-depth coverage (and tons of pics) over at Autoblog...

hey...i have one of those. they're alright.
There is all the information on the displays in the press release at the bottom of this article:

Looks like Freespace readouts.
it remeinded me of darth vader
I'll take the brunette in the jumpsuit, and a gallardo please. I'll pass on this one.
You mean the one standing like a man? Lol...no thanks! Ugh!
Wow, you have to be gay(no offense to homosexuals) if you don't think that girl is hot. Seriously what is wrong with people's taste these days?
Bet Michael Knight has his on pre-order.
That Tach on the left side totally reminds me of Knight Rider!
Looks decent, might order one just for the kicks...
I can't tell if I am looking at a futuristic dashboard version of the Night Rider KITT car display or the display inside of Darth Vader’s helmet!
Either way it goes it is still cool looking. Now I only hope I don't spend too much time trying to figure out what the display says while I am driving down the street!
:D
The car is nice, but the name sucks big time, in Spanish sounds awful
So this Lamborghini is limited edition huh? As opposed to all those other mass-produced ones I guess...
Wow...if someone in our garage is getting one, I'll surely make a "hands-on" gallery :P

Was that the new batmobile for the upcoming Batman movie? If not, it gets my vote.
The one in the movie may look badass. But like a badass garbage truck.
so when can we expect the engadget giveaway for this one?
Nissan skylines had a G-meter in the dash back in the mid-late 90's. still, cool dash.
Could we get one of these in the giveaway a day?
awesome car
*yawn* still waiting on the mini-missiles behind the headlights
i'll take 2..
wow that thing is hot! too bad i, like 99% of the rest of the population will never be able to afford it!
Even if you could, I heard today that they are sold out... d'oh.
But you know that as soon as you buy one at $1,600,000 they'll lower the price to $1,599,800
Haha, that cracked me up. Also the extra 500 dollar Lamborghini gift card they will be giving away will just break us wont it?
If lambourghini is anything like Apple, I'm sure the early adopters will get a nice 200 dollar cash back.
Customizable HUD, now this sound's like a winner.. To bad it's in a car I could honestly care less about..
that thing got a hemi?
r u a fucken retard
nice car, but def NOT worth one million. Looks like some jazzed up version of an existing car with not much creativity or advancements. Seems like they just wanted to make a car thats price tag would equal something insane, and therefor exclusive with bragging rights, but instead is just way overpriced.
The left side of the display looks like the landing sequence from Battlestar Galactica circa 1977, and the right side looks like ASCII art of Darth Vader as a cyclops. But it's still kewl!
... but no HUD??? What kind of a fighter is that?
The gauges look perfect if you're about to drop a torpedo down the tail pipe of the deathstar.
God that looks sexy! I don't care that you guys are bashing it cause it looks like something out of a Sci-Fi movie or series. It looks awesome... I would buy that in a heartbeat if I had the money. This looks like it has everything.
I rather take this engine in the VW Golf GTI W12-650 (go ahead and run a quick google search on W12-650)
If VW would just put that one in production. I think you could easily afford a customizable dash over the price of the Lambo.
