Logitech's new AudioHub Notebook Speaker System
Logitech is filling a questionable "gap" in the world of USB peripherals today with its new AudioHub device. The 2.1 unit parks itself behind your laptop and pokes out a pair adjustable satellite speakers on each side while the subwoofer hides in the back. There's also a three port USB hub built in, no doubt to make up for the fact that the AudioHub is blocking most of your connections in the back of your laptop. You can of course mute the speakers while continuing to power your USB devices, but that's about all for functionality -- other than a bit of cable management in the back. AudioHub does seem like a decent "dock" solution for most casual users, and the $100 price isn't horrible, but we're not expecting this guy to revolutionize the cheesy USB gadget industry just yet.

ack how do i plug in the power!? ... uhh... i vote no. lol
It looks as if there are holes on the edges that will allow you to pass your power cable through, assuming it's not in the middle rear of your notebook. But there are certainly other reasons to vote no.
That's attractive. Like putting a bumper on a laptop..w.t.f.
lol i bet it weighs as much as a bumper too... the thing looks huge!
Props to Logitech for having Helio Sequence on their playlist!
Logitech have never heard of the expression 'travelling light' (and I'm not talking about a laptop illumination device either). Soon you'll need a friendly caddy to carry around all your extras... like this and the obligatory USB humping dog!
Why?
Or let's rather say
WHY?!
Gawd, this is clearly king of the crop in both the ugly and pointless category. Maybe Logitech has a new competition for their interns. "Make something to sell at 100 bucks, no matter what, using only party you find in the basement" - or something in the same line.
There are no words to describe how I feel about this.
I've always had the understanding that accessories are to be smaller and more portable than the host device...
Yes, let's block all of your rear exhaust ports!
Or, y'know, you could just buy these:

there's a bunch on eBay, for $65 plus shipping. Mine didn't get here yet, but by Dan's review, they'll sound a damn sight better than this monstrosity, while being smaller and lighter and not causing everything to fry...
Huge and ugly.
