Not a lot of dirt on this one just yet, but
BoyGeniusReport has it that the
HTC "Juno" should be headed to T-Mobile, and soon. Of note, the Juno moniker is apparently just a codename that could change upon official launch, but this sexy handset will purportedly include Windows Mobile 6, a "consumer friendly interface (
TouchFlo?)," and a whole lot of wow-factor in the display. Regrettably, that's practically all of the details available at the moment, but considering that it should hit T-Mobile exclusively late next month, official word shouldn't be too far behind.
Sold. If someone can unlock it for AT&T. :)
I am a T-mobile customer and they have unlocked all the phones I've bought from them for international use when asked. There's a limit (I think one per month or something), but they're good about that.
Finally a new phone from T-Mobile I can buy.
Sweeeet. It's about time for an upgrade
I really like being on t-mobile's network, but we really could use a boost in the high-end phone department. As far as calling a windows mobile device an "adult sidekick"... um, okay. I would never buy a sidekick.
Seeing that it has home, back, and two softkeys, it's going to be a WM6 Standard device, so no touchscreen or TouchFlo.
Wonder if it will have Black Berry Connect? The key pad looks an awful lot like RIM's 'Sure Type keypad' we've seen used on models from other manufacturers like Samsung that have Black Berry Connect service.
Looks like it'll be an interesting one to watch for.
There is aftermarket (umm. no charge) cab files out there for blackberry connect. Available for all WM6 phones
Is there any reason why Engadget and EngadgetMobile are not able to syncronize comments on crossover posts?
I hope its one of their new UMA phones.
I think all new T-Mobile WiFi capable phones will be UMA/H@H. The upcoming BB 8320 will have WiFi with UMA/H@H capability.
WOW...this is nice. Taking the "iphone" idea a couple steps further. The slide out keyboard in an iphone form-factor is genius. All the Jobs-spin in the world can`t fix the iphone`s pathetic "keyboard".
And bring on the third-party apps. since it runs on WM 6 ;)
The design reminds me of the rumored HTC "OMNI". If this is the direction HTC is taking...count me in!
Im sorry but unless it has touchscreen tech it is already obsolete.
If it has touchscreen and GPS then it is the ultimate phone. I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I've got an HTC wizard but I don't use it because it's fugly. But this is super sexy
looks interesting, I'm gonna keep an eye on this device. Hopefully the specs are as impressive as its looks.
I just want it to have wi-fi so that I can replace my Dash.
Get some 3G data speeds on the TMO network already.
I LOVE T-mobile, but hate the phones. I love my Wizard/MDA, but can't see the need to get a Wing. So throw some 3G on it (oh wait...how about we roll that 3G network out ALREADY??) and you got me sold. That is, unless, T-mobile can somehow get the TyTn II!
