MyDo eyeSonic glasses: like Oakley's Thump, minus the tint
Those who got a kick (ahem) out of MyDo's Bururu glasses will surely appreciate the firm's latest spectacles, which seem to function pretty much like Oakley's Thump sans the tint. The eyeSonics reportedly utilizes "bone conduction speaker equipment," non-slip arms, a 3.5-millimeter input (no Bluetooth?), and are set to arrive in four different colors. Interestingly enough, these bad boys aren't exactly cheap, and we'd probably just stick with separate devices before we coughed up the ¥38,000 ($336) required to neatly combine headphones and glasses.

Yeah, "minus the tint". So you can get a good look at who's laughing at you.
nerds will just never be cool
If Dog the Bounty Hunter can't make those Oakleys look cool, no one can. And by that reasoning, no one should EVER make another glasses/sunglasses MP3 player combo ever again.
you know, the whole sunglasses/headphone idea is a great one, in theory.
(key word, in theory.)
we know how much we love gadgets, and combined gadgets, so why can't anybody get this one right?
it's too bad no company can make it look good... or even 'less bad' than their predecessors.
If the earbuds are wired, what's the point? it's like having earbuds you can't wear without also wearing the glasses - in other words, largely useless.
$336 eh?
can I just hot glue my $15 earbuds onto my $20 glasses instead?
theres a pair of earbuds attached to the glasses... wow. couldn't ever do that myself, I'm glad someone stepped in with heavy machinery.
Has anyone ever gotten good sound out of the induction earphones? I demo'd some with my own iPod recently and at full volume, it was very very quiet. Too quiet. Interesting experience, but the volume just couldn't cut it. Anyone else have that experience?
These are the Oakly Thump minus the integration, really. They have wires running down the back!
Christ, they're just plain terrible.
well, being a very rare user of bone conduction technology.. ie bone conduction hearing aids... but not a wearer of glasses... cant they just make a cool mp3 playing bone conduction hearing aid, besides the one i wear that was designed before i was born in 1983? id pay hundreds of dollars for it, if it looked cooler than a starkey bc-1.
