BlackBerry Curve 8320 leaked on T-Mobile
Sure, we've heard whispers involving the BlackBerry Curve 8320 before, but there's nothing like official documentation from a trusted carrier to really get you jazzed up. As expected, this handset will tout WiFi, HotSpot @Home / UMA support, a two-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, a microSD expansion slot, built-in multimedia player, a 320 x 240 QVGA display, and a 312MHz Intel processor to boot. Hit the read link for the full rundown of the official details.

But for how much!?
Does anyone know what the contract and regular prices are supposed to be?
If I remember right, after speaking to a T-Mobile employee about 2-3 weeks ago who told me about this phone, it was $549.99 without contract or $349.99 with a 2-year.
T-Mobile's BlackBerry plans can be found on their website.
T-mobile disappoints me again.... where is the HSDPA and the GPS in this baby?? And can we add video recording fromt the camera as well??? PLEASE oh PLEASE!!! Lets make this the thing as powerful or better than what's on the market. I'm getting tired of all these half baked phones.
My thoughts exactly. I'm sticking with my three year old 7100 until I see 3G.
"BLACKBERRY" disappoints me too! lol
Any 8320 wifi love for ATT members?
You are getting the 8310 with WiFi and GPS.
From everything I've heard AT&Ts 8310 comes with GPS instead of WiFi, not in addition to. This seems to be the trend among smartphone manufacturers. They can never give us the total package. Grrrr.
Can you confirm that matt? I really wanna exchange my pearl for a curve and if a new one is coming out, then i'll wait. I also wanna make sure that it has video capabilities such as playback and capturing. So if you have any info, i'd REALLY appreciate it.
No AT&T is getting the 8310 with GPS rather than wifi. BB claim they can't stick in Wifi, GPS and a Camera into the 8300 form factor.
All you have to do is call customer care at 611. They can confirm upcoming handset launches and I know for a fact that the Curve is coming out in October. Personally, I'm real excited for HotSpot@Home on a PDA.
Comes out on Sept. 24th, found out from our T-Mo rep at work. Not too sure of the price but it should be about $100 cheaper than the 8800.
isnt T-Mo coming out with a 3g phone this month? I think that'd be better.
3g to launch q2 2008 per a t-mobile rep I talked to
Give me GPS over Wi-Fi any day. all this carrier exclusive stuff sucks. You should be able to get what model you want with what features you want. That's why I but unlocked. You can't neccessarily do that though if something is a "T-mobile model"
I got my Curve 8320 on 8/22 (I am pretty sure the tmo rep wasn't suppose to sell it to me early) the phone is awesome. the AIM client doesn't work yet (tmo said since the phone hasn't been launched yet, blackberry hasn't turned up their new aim service yet). Phone was $450.0 without an upgrade, if your plan is 1yr+ old you can take it home for $300.00 with a $50.00 rebate.
that's the 8310 plastic's, not the 8320.
Where is Verizon with an upcoming phone? I know the World Edition is not old but I'm looking for something offering a little more!!
I know a little off topic but where is Verizon at after the World Edition...any news of upcoming holiday releases?
I just finish purchesing my TMO Curve for $249.00. The actual price is $399 for a one year contract. I was quoted earlier in the week by a T-mobile rep and they had to give it to me for the quoted price.
Disappointed with Curve as would like to have GPS and camera in the same unit. Can never get the total package… Next model may be?
i spoke with 3 different people with T-mobile customer care today and all 3 confirmed for me that the curve 8320 which i ordered today has all 3, built in GPS, WiFi, and camera. and if it doesn't i can send it back and get my money back.
In response on the T-mobile website it says video camera now if it does not work then you can sue for false advertisment. So print out spec before they take them off or change them.
its not gps, but it does have a built in map of the us, some of canada and mexico. and you can get directions, but its not that great..... no turn by turn or anything like that....
