Jinxing Digital's MP4 Player has swiveling 2MP camera
If you like generic names, you'll love Jinxing Digital's "MP4 Player," a 320x240 2.5-inch screen PMP that, unsurprisingly, plays MPEG-4 files. It also features a gimmicky 2-Megapixel camera that can swivel horizontally up to 180 degrees, A/V Out, and an SD/MMC slot. No mention of built-in storage, and it can only manage 5 hours of continuous battery life -- we would say move along, but as this MP4 Player is unlikely to hit these shores, you probably won't have to.[Via PMP Today]

the camera was a nice idea...except the five hours of battery life is useless for pretty much anybody...
I dub this...fail-worthy...

How absurd.
Firstly I have an iPod, so no love for generic names, but I think calling it an MP4 Player is a decent idea, given its minority brand would you rather they called it some stupid name nobody is going to recognise anyway, or a name that actually says what it is? I am getting sick of devices having stupid names, it's annoying to rattle off the product name of my phone (Sony Ericsson w550i) that says nothing about what it is or does unless the person knows that phone, and the majority don't.
Secondly, as I just said, I have an iPod, I use it all the time. I leave it plugged in over night, it charges, I listen to it in the morning on the way to university, that's half an hour at max, I listen to it during some breaks, and then on the way home. It then gets plugged in again at home. During the day i'm likely to end up spending a lot of time working in front of the computer, so I can charge it easily then, and half the time I switch the earphones to the computer and listen to the music off my iPod through iTunes anyway, so it easily charges completely in that time. Why do I need any more than 5 hours battery life? Obviously I have no issues about finding time to charge it, and this isn't so different from the many other hordes of people that end up in front of a computer all day and use it to and from work. Just to top it off, I quite often have to do a 4 hour drive, still haven't run out of batteries, but just in case, my car charger ensures it's fully charged the whole way, ready for hours more of playback when I arrive too.
It has expandable memory, A/V Out and a camera better than my phone (just). It has more than my iPod!

I thought the addition of a camera made it an MP5 player?
