Mimoco reveals Halo Mimobot flash drives
Since we tend to concentrate on hardware on this little blog, you may not have realized that there's a rather seminal event occurring on the software side of things that has gamers pretty giddy, namely the release of Halo 3 for the Xbox 360. And what better way to display your fandom than with a Master Chief Mimobot USB 2.0 flash drive from Mimoco, a 1GB ($50), 2GB ($70), or 4GB ($110) piece limited to 5,000 units (3,000 each for the Red and Blue Spartan editions, pictured after the break) and pre-loaded with all sorts of swag sure to fill the emptiness in your life once you've completed the trilogy. Pre-orders have already started, so if you missed out on the last batch of space odyssey-themed paraphernalia, you'll probably wanna reserve one well before the official October 18th release at E for All.

Sweet!!!
A little expensive though...
He has a big head
I don't know if this occurs to anyone that these things are just bizarre looking.
That lid bit is far bigger then it needs to be, shame.
OMG yeah that totally looks like Master Chief.
They vaguely resemble Wii controllers...

that really doesn't look like him, it's just some gold paint on their stock shape.
hardware not software focus? I bet you won't say that when leopard launches.
Hit the nail right on the head. Engadget LOVES stevie.
Just buy any of their crappy drives and paint it yourself, they're all the same damn shape. The R2-D2 one even has ears.
3,000 plus 3,000 is 5,000?
5,000 green
3,000 blue
3,000 red
It was worded poorly
All right, I admit it, I stink.
I'm a bit of a geek, but this is just way too much, even for me. Uh, will an 8GB one be coming out soon? :-D
Sigh... I miss my disposable income days...
Wait wait wait
uhh, am I going crazy, or did the color of those flash drives change from red (about 20ish minutes ago I think) to a bronze color?!
heheheh "seminal"
Master Pope is more like it..
Thats actually pretty funny
Awww. They're so cute ! Little Master Chiefs!
It looks like the jolly green giant is missing his member. Maybe its detachable?
I thought it was Thunderbird 2 at first.
Aww ive never seen a super bad ass look so damn hug-able
my beef with leopard is time machine...if i delete a file i want it gone bye bye forever
disreguard last comment... sorry
I've decided! I'm NOT going to buy one!
