I have seen a lots of side by side comparisons on pana and pioneer, the pioneer is not really much better if tested correctly, sales guys will always hype up pioneer because it is limited distribution, that means better profits to the sales guys, panny is more competitive, you can buy it anywhere and get a better deal, plus you may forced to pay for extra warranty and install with pioneer whether you need it or not.
