Western Digital adds three new colors to Passport lineup
While we're sure some folks were just fine with WD's glossy black 250GB Passport, the firm is looking out for those who like their external drives a bit more flashy. Western Digital is now offering up its quarter-terabyte Passport in vibrant green, glossy white and metallic red, but aside from the hues, everything else looks to be staying the same. No official word on price just yet, but it should line up pretty evenly with the black iteration already out.

Maybe if you guys look outside of Apple, you would have notice this for sale months ago...
M
Gee, who's Apple? I've never even heard of them on here....
yay mexico
Mexico? There is no cool eagle on the white one. I would so be in line to buy one if it did! For now, you can just say Italia!
M
yay Italia!
I have to agree, this is pretty old. Best Buy sells the white for $209, with the black going for only $149. I want to say the other 2 colors cost $159.
Why?
I bought the 160GB glossy black passport to replace my big gray 80GB. It's sleek and sexy and adds great contrast to my white Macbook. Don't know about these colors though.
I have the black one, and I love it.
Well the new 250gb white and black are $250 (says so right there on the link) so I can't imagine the red and green (lol just in time for xmas) costing much more than that.
I have to get the red one ASAP. Quick, where can I purchase one?
my monitor sucks, i didnt even know the white one was even in the picture.
Calibrate it before you go blind, dude.
All three are sold at Best Buy:
Green 120Gb for $124
Red 160GB for $154
White 250gb for $209
and they were all on sale last week for $150 and down i believe...
Jeez, OLD news. We've had all of these in stock at the Officeworks, all the colours in 250GB are the same cost as the black one.
Here in Melbourne, Officeworks are selling the 250gb coloured ones for $20 cheaper than the same capacity black ones, how very apple of them! White + Colours - $279 Black - $299
>_< o_- o_o . What?
Tour screen. Calibrate it. If you can't see the white drive, that means all your light tones are burned, the brightness level on your screen is way too high.
Man, if only the Wii would work with USB hard drives... the white one is the perfect companion, blue LED and all!
