New Zunes support DVD quality video over TV-Out
Zune Insider has a little update about specifics of the new Zunes up on their site, with the rather minor -- but interesting -- tidbit that the new Zunes natively support video of up to 720x480 at 30fps, or 720x576 at 25fps. These formats will only play at full quality via TV-Out -- the Zune display is expected to be a regular 320 x 240 affair -- but it's nice to know that you'll be able to lug around full DVD resolution movies on the next Zune, right?[Thanks, alexsv: via Zune Online]

forgot to say...i know a lot of folks are down playing wi-fi store, or that lack thereof...but i think it's a very cool feature and one i can really see myself using...i hope they add it....soon!
I meant wi-fi streaming to a wi-fi supported audio device like a stereo system. I have an Apple Airport Express hooked up to my stereo system and I can stream music from my iTunes library (using iTunes) to that device. It is easy enough to use my computer but I throw enough shindigs that I would like to use my Zune (I have a 30GB Halo 3 Zune) to do this. I would love to sync a playlist to my Zune and have it stream the audio wirelessly to my stereo via wi-fi. That way, I can switch songs or stop the music if need be. I would carry my Zune around in my pocket and not worry about anyone taking my iPod (if I chose to hook it up via RCA cables) or worry about going to my bedroom to mess with iTunes. I would also like this feature with my iPod touch as well, I actually expected it more with that device.
So yeah, that is what I mean by wi-fi streaming, not the "DJ" service that just streams to other Zunes.
WOW. Are you kidding me? There is a site that only writes about Zune? Hah! Shut me down... I can't believe it.
Go Zune....
Ricardo owns a Zune 30!
