Are you people actually going to the Colorware site and looking at their options (and products... they do have more than just iPods... anyone looking for a Ferrari red Xbox 360?), or are you looking at the pretty pic above and make a judgement? Yes, having something custom-painted is an unnecessary indulgence, but why does that make YOU all so angry? So go to Best Buy and buy the plain white one! Who gives a crap? And if Colorware's prices are steep, then at least let the rest of us know the alternatives instead of just bitching about the price. And if you're going to refer to some DIY crap, not everyone is good at ripping apart their electronics for the sake of modding them. Some people SHOULD pay someone else to do it. Personally, I don't care, but I don't see what all the hate is gotta be about.
