I just purchased the 40gb version and I think it is an amazing piece of hardware. Granted their are not that many games out yet. Assassins Creed, Guitar Hero 3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, are amazing titles. I am really looking forward to Metal Gear Solid 4 from the trailers it looks very promising and Midnight Club:Los Angeles edition also dated to come out next year looks like it is going to be awesome. Aside from that the blue ray movies look stellar on my new Phillips 32" HDTV. For some reason I was never intrigued by the Xbox 360 and the issues it has been plagued with. Nothing against the Xbox 360 some games look awesome, I just cannot find any reason to buy the 360 console, perhaps it is the overall bad design of the machine (ugly). If I found one for around $100.00 dollars then I might purchase it. In due time I know that their will be a massive amount of games made available for the Playstation 3, just wait and see:) In the meantime my healthy 6 year old PS2 can still play my old games on my modest 27" CRT Television.
Following the commercial success (and technical disappointment) of the original Wildfire -- which featured a miserly 528MHz CPU and QVGA display -- HTC has returned with the Wildfire S.
