Of course! And all ages.
Anthony @ Oct 10th 2007 4:48PM
All ages, huh? Not so interested. Nothing I like better than talking about gadgets while cursing, drinking & watching things that would certainly not be appropriate for all ages.
My therapist feels her car/house/boat payments are secure.

Yknow, two of the USA's top three cities (New York and Chicago) would appreciate and Engadget meetup. How about hooking us up?
Boynamedsue @ Oct 10th 2007 5:56PM

Be nice that when you post reminders about this sort of stuff that your post the address or at least a link back to the original article. That way people don't have to go fishing around for stuff.

jygsaw @ Oct 11th 2007 2:07AM
By the time I got in free drinks had become $3 drinks. Also, it was way too crowded in there.
CaliforniaKid @ Oct 11th 2007 2:14AM
Heck of a long line to get it. Reportedly 700 people tried to squeeze into a 200-300 person room. Tasty party food! Got a free Flicker account. Wa-hoo! Interesting to see the Endgadget demographic, which looked to be 97% male, mid-20s to mid-30s. Thanks Engadget!
Kris @ Oct 11th 2007 2:28AM
Don't worry guys. This thing was a joke. The event was clearly planned for about 100 people max instead of the 1000+ that showed up. It was held in one small room in which we all stood like caged chickens.
There were a handful of vendor displays, but nothing worth fighting through the crowd or spending more than 30 seconds at. People bickered like starving peasants over the tiny bit of free food offered. Beer was long gone by 7:05.
The giveaways were pretty decent (didn't win anything myself, though), but that's about the only positive I can think of. I really regret driving an hour each way from Santa Clara. I love Engadget and will continue to be a loyal reader, but I'll obviously never attend another event like this.

HaHa! I made out like a pirate tonight, I feel like J-lo with all this booty I got! I was one of the few, the chosen, this great evening, getting in line at 5:00pm; a little hand printed sticker with the number '114' soon turned into a $250 dollar Sansa wi-fi mp3 player! I also picked up a tiny bluetooth headset, a t-shirt from one of the Jawbone developers that says "iBone", and some other neat little swag packed into my Sansa knapsack! Oh, did I mention free food AND beer? Thanks Engadget & peeps, you made my night!

sounds like it was a good time, now come to CLEVELAND!!!
