Anybody who replaces the word "at" in a post with the @ symbol is a fucking asshole. Seriously. How much effort did you save yourself?
Mmmm, sorry, Sammyfisher was better. Do try harder next time.

A colleague of mine send me some spreadsheets for printing he did at midnight due to pending deadlines.
Plenty of columns, so he kept shortening the words, for example: network became netw..rk.
pretty nice price. Maybe I'll go buy one for Christmas... And Sammy? Go stuff your head in a fishtank.
and one more thing sammy... GO IRELAND. heh heh..
Sammyfisher,
I am English, and I have to say you are making the British population look moronic and idiotic.
If you were to ever open the box of a product from Apple you would see it clearly states "Designed by Apple in California." Apple is an American company. If you still don't believe what everyone in this forum has said look at the facts:
Steve Jobs lives in Cupertino. He is American.
AAPL is floated on an American stock exchange.
All product announcements are made at either the Moscone Center, San Fran, or at Apple headquarters.
US gets iPhone first.
EVERYONE knows for a fact Apple is American. I respect the American culture.
and one more thing sammy... GO IRELAND. heh heh..
srry bout double posting...
Hey! I'm from Haverhill! Sweet I didn't know Target opened.
Saw a thing like that at Toys Ur`s at Time Square...Lots, lots along Wii`s for sell.
i want a price drop on the X360 premium
it would be nice if the canadian xbox360 prices weren't $100 more now that our dollar is at par...
*envy*
ok someone mentioned apple being a british company? Steve Jobs was born here in California buddy.
Read up on our history.

@ photo in the post: that dude must have been having some serious caffeine(or other drug) shakes :-P
nah, probably just a phone camera with (reasonably) shitty optics.
isn't it cute how he hasn't posted since Luigi193 shut him down with the wiki quote. so cute... like that episode of family guy when stewie's body was all tentacles from the radiation. u silly lil dip$hit. u r nothing. u know nothing. end.
SAMMY is the same idiot that said that harry potter were the best movies ever made... mainly because they were british..... now I didn't check my facts (cause I have better things to do - like.... play warcraft or something), but aren't the harry potter movies made by warner brothers and directed by chris columbus .. both americans... ? yes the writer of the books in from England, but the movies are not. about his apple thing... ok obviously Apple is american.. that guy is just plain insane... and anyways... I'm sure everyone believes that any nation can have good companies in their territories, mainly because it has nothing to do with the countries themselves, but more with the people running them..
hmm idk.. i saw one of those at my local target a while back
The EU has a slightly better Economy only if you include EVERY country (even the ones pending admission and the ones that don't use the Euro) with a population of 384 Million. Not double the population and "ten" times the economy. I don't think the entire world even has "ten" times the US economy combined, but it would be close. Stats via WTO
did you just compare a muslum to a cockroach. wow. you get the sammy award for obnoxious today as well.
Also, I'm not sure the original comment about the British Game Console was so far off. But about the cars, I drive a newer Range Rover and that thing doesn't break down but it has problems all the time (back when Rover was still Rover not Ford)! Before that a Taurus, completely uninspired, but the thing didn't have any problems.
yea, that's what I was thinking...british cars always seem like they are in for repairs...and when Ford bough Aston Martin and Jag...their repair rates went DOWN
Yeah... I just saw a memo to store managers at GS about the Arcade system, sku and all! Didnt think of taking a picture... if I see it again I will.
I might just get one. Or I might just buy a book and expand my mind.
will you be my daddy?
SammyFisher - i think youre confusing APPLE RECORDS with APPLE (computers). Apple Records was the label that the Beatles were on.
I'm tempted. Very tempted.
At 200€ i'm buying to for sure. But at 250€ i'll play "wait and see" a little bit longer. But probably for Xmas I would buy myself one anyway.
I still have some games left on both Wii and PC, so there is no rushing.
Congrats to M$'s Xbox team for getting thru the past two years. Console getting to point of dropping price (and not because of price pressure from competitors) is a sign of Xbox ecosystem health to me.
I just saw the XBox 360 Pro bundle with the pack-in games (formerly called the Premium) on a shelf in a Best Buy in Michigan.
No Arcade bundle, but then Best Buy seems to be avoiding the old Core unit anyway.
I have a question that is sort of one topic.
I know the Xbox 360 wired controllers can be used with PC games. Can the wireless controllers also be used? If so what are they, bluetooth?
America hardly saved us in either WW1 or WW2 I don't know where they got that idea from but hey!
Michael: the wireless controllers CAN be used with the PC, but you need to buy the PC wireless adapter dongle to support it (it's available at most electronics retailers and costs around twenty dollars or so, I think...)
and seriously, those guys need to get those things off the sales floor. we received pretty clear communication that the arcade bundles cannot be sold until the twenty-third. there's a good fine involved for whoever made that mistake.
This Target store just opened a couple days ago. they probably thought it was part of their normal inventory... its in Haverhill Aassachusetts, about 35 miles north of boston and on the NH border
He's obviously not very old since he can't even use English grammar correctly (then vs. than). Of course he would probably make the argument that he doens't care about grammar on the internet and that many adults do in fact use incorrect grammar. Nonetheless, the EU has a larger population because it consists of 27 countries with a population density that is nearly four times greater. Third, the economy of the EU is ahead by a very small margin (relatively) compared to the United States, and there cannot be a comparison between the two in the first place because a country cannot be compared to an economic alliance. Finally, the whole issue about Apple's headquarters is just pure stupidity. It definitely is NOT based in the UK.
"a country cannot be compared to an economic alliance"
Now, after that careful explanation, which I thank you for, you decide to cling on a technicality.
You do realize EU countries are about to become states in a single EU country somewhere in the next 2 decades or less, and the similarity between EU's countries, and US's .. well, states.
Where did you hear that? I find that HIGHLY improbable, and if they were to unite politically in ANY possible way, they will NOT be united under one single government. NEVER EVER. Do you really think countries like Spain and Portugal would gladly unite into a single nation? However it may turn out, I don't even see any remote chances of the European Union becoming a single "country." Rather, I would assume that some sort of political or possibly military alliance could form for defense.
The current political ties between the countries in the European Union do not convince me that they will form a "country" as you say. I think it's as good as it can get and the only direction left is south as far as European alliances.
compared to that** of the United States, and there cannot be a comparison between the two in the first place because an economy of a country cannot be compared to that of an economic alliance.
Dude! I found one at my Chicago target. I tryed to buy it but they said no sale until oct. 15th. These sales people are getting very confused when it comes to microsoft products. The 360. Then the zune. 360 elite. second gen zunes. Now this!
I am so buying this and Halo 3. I'm going to unleash hell and some n00bs.
Hell AND some nOObs?
Yes, I would suppose that you will likely unleash both... Can I assume your Gamertag will be "Imp0p3r_werd_usag3"?
The analogy would hold IF cockroaches were not indigenous to Britain, but instead had been introduced from afar. Does anyone know if roaches are a transplant species where Britain is concerned?
I don't mind when people make analogies, even ones people might not like. But make them accurate, please!
On topic: Is this basically the "core" 360, rebranded?
I'm British, and I completely agree with Sammy, even the things that were obviously wrong.
And Danny, people aren't being racist...UK and America are not races, for crying out loud...on your list of taboo discriminations, sex, creed, color, religion, national origin, (ancestry, age, sexual orientation, disability, and in britain: bad teeth),the oft forgotten 'national origin' that we are flaunting today.
And sexism. In Britain, even the men are women.
Oh crap, I forgot who I was bashing...
I mean in America...the men are women, and in Britain, not, NOT!
