You fail to take into account the footprint, general aesthetics, ability to recycle the materials, and the fact that Gateway's customer support is like phoning the gates of hell...to say nothing of the worth of the operating system. These are all specifications that must be considered in addition to the standard RAM, Video RAM, CPU, and hard drive space.
