New Zunes to share video? Update: nope!

P.S. -What the hell is up with "The Social" popping back up? Didn't Microsoft leave it behind? Or has "the social" just become the product's tagline-tagline? We don't know, but we don't like it when these guys try and mess with our heads.
Update: We heard back from the Zune gang on this one. We misinterpreted Zune Social to mean the things you can do in the "Social" menu of your Zune (silly us); instead they were referring to the other Zune Social -- the social music network being launched with the new Zunes. Oh, and apparently "Welcome to the social" isn't dead yet, despite that AdAge piece reporting its premature demise, so we'll lay off Microsoft while they think different about tagline grammar.
Update 2: Oh, Microsoft pinged to let us know that on top of the rest, there is actually no Zune Social video sharing -- that was just a mistake. Rocking.

Apple users claim to have problems with Vista.
Microsoft users claim to have problems with OS X.
I use both OS X (Tiger) and Vista quite happily. It's really about what system you're running it on, and personal preference as to how you set up your system.
I use both and I like both. But Between Engadget, Twit, and you name it the trend is to bash Vista and Zune with lies. They work fine. Its just that Apple Fanboys have taken over the Blogs and Podcasts and they wont be happy till they see an over priced MAC in everyones home.
All I want is the news. I don't want any bashing, or little biased opinions from Leo, Ryan and any other Apple or Vista fanboy. Both of these Systems work just fine. And if one is better its the one with 80+% market share and there is a reason for that market share, cause it is better and thats it period.
That was meant to say I wouldn't trade Zune or Zune pass for an iPod or iTunes.(Damn spellcheck)
Who said Engadget has reporters? It's a fkucin blog about new technology, not a news station.
The "reporters" at news companies that back up reports with references like "some people say" or "it's been said by some people", are the ones you should be worried about haha.
"Some people say that the Zune's tagline is 'Welcome to the Social', and it's been said by some people that the Z2 will be able to transfer videos to other z2 devices" You heard it here first on Nox Fews.
Sorry Neon, but they can't hide behind that argument anymore.
First off, the get press passes to events.
Second, they get invited to press-only calls.
Third, the USSC had ruled that blogs can be considered a part of the press and get the same legal protection the press gets.
Fourth, information presented here directly and dramatically affects stock values - which directly affects people's incomes and savings.
Finally, this blog presents technological news in essentially no different a way than any other media does. Most newspapers are 50% or more just reprinting stringers like AP.
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it may be time to accept it's a duck. By making the 'well they're not real journalists - they're just a blog' argument, you're letting them off the hook for things for which they should be responsible.
Now, if you're arguing that they're not very good at journalism, then you may have a point - but in their defense, they're no worse than a lot of journalists (like - say - Fox News... no... they're not THAT bad, thank God). :)
I see... thanks for the lesson
I TAKE IT BACK COMPLETELY, ESPECIALLY AFTER READING THE ARTICLE ABOUT ENGADGET IN THE LATEST ISSUE OF FORTUNE MAGAZINE. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER ENGADGET.
