AOTS builds "world's largest arcade machine"
We've never really watched much of Attack of the Show, but we hear it's hosted by some nerdy types that are somehow better looking than us -- which simply can't be correct. All that aside, those (debatably) sexy nerds have taken it upon themselves to build the world's largest arcade machine, and even invited over the Guinness Book of World Records folks to check it out on tonight's show. The arcade machine stands more than 13-feet tall, sports a 70-inch or so screen, and probably runs Doom. The show airs tonight at 7PM on G4, where hopefully they'll unveil the specs behind this bad boy.

Thanks for the insightful and intelligent commentary Gage, I am sure to treasure your words of wisdom.
not a problem, go wack it
...or, on the other hand, Patchee-boy (or girl), maybe we trolls don't have the time to spend on constructing long-winded, spell-checked replies to a lighthearted, trivial posts about things like giant arcade machines. Perhaps we all should have given pause to the socio-economic effects of constructing such a machine or to the plight of dear Ms. Mun?
btw: Olivia Mun has a greeaatt ass! I have a joystick she can play with. There I'm a troll, you putz.
was this from the set of Willy Wonka?
But will it run...
Oh.
I feel so redundant.
I'm not trying to be redundant or anything, but I just can't over how hot she is. I haven't watched G4 since it was called TechTV and The Screen Savers were on, so I had no idea there were babes on that channel.
AOTS is a good show, and genuinely funny. They cover a lot of great gaming news... what other show on tv can say that (other than g4's Xplay) ? It's a great show to tivo, so you can skip all the teasers and watch 30 minutes of the good stuff.
all you self-righteous "I will never watch G4 after the screen savers" guys should get over yourselves.
g4 has just changed a lot, like the gaming scene has;
it's all geared pretty much at non-nerds. like hwne oyu go to a halo 3 release you're surrounded by frat boys, or 13 year olds with their moms that don't really know anything about their consoles or the innards of them.
i don't watch g4 because it's like watching john madden talk about football; he doesn't tell you anything that a 4 year old probably doesn't already know, whether they are familiar with it or not.
i guess, i just enjoyed it when it wasn't so... basic.
i'm not against hot chicks, and i do think that the girls are total babes. but, even as a lesbian, i'm not willing to watch a channel just for that, when they dumb everything down so much.
I love how this thread ended up being about mostly about hot asses and sexism rather than about how hot the machine is, considering that there are at least FOUR FANS in the guts, judging by that pic...I wonder if that's enough.
I don't have a tv, but I would watch this if the show were about building the machine rather than just sorta playing it for a minute...I guess I'll go on YouTube in a while and see if I can find a clip.
Frankly, if this show is modeled at all on most videogame marketing, I'm not surprised they put supposedly pretty, supposedly geeky chicks on there. I will say this, no matter how nice your ass supposedly is (I admit I like breasts more), you look really lame when you clip your cellphone or your Lavalier powerpack right over it. Or maybe its a Crackberry. How appropriate that would be...
So who's gonna be the first to fall off the step stool, bust their jaw, and sue?
Can you IMAGINE the coins needed to drive those things? I mean look at the loader! It's HUGE!
It runs Windows XP, uses a 5K lumin DLP projector, everything works on it, and it accepts massive sized coins that they also made to scale. It also uses a liscensend program that runs on XP and plays I think 150 arcade games.
It's made to be an up-scaled replica of an origional arcade machine, so that other machine someone posted wouldn't count.
Oh and yes olivia has a nice ass!
I feel ashamed of all these people here defending G4TV and AOTS. Nobody should watch any programming on that channel after the useless transformation from the buyout of TechTV to G4tv. I sure love programming that panders to 12 year-old boys and 20something guys in a market already saturated by this crap. Give me back my RELEVANT tech info channel. Damn.
Any news about AOTS or G4TV is horrible unless it includes "cancelled/shut down forever." That would be the best victory for the late-TechTV.
Who the hell cares about Olivia Munn anyhow? Heck, Cat Schwartz and Morgan Webb should be up there. Where's Leo and Patrick? Gaaah..
It's a sad day when nobody remembers/knows of TechTV's legacy.
We have the internet for relevant info, and it has already proven immeasurably more useful for that purpose. We have TV for moving pictures and sounds. Seems to me like this one is in the bag.
loving that butt doesnt make anybody a nerd
