Where do you get the Wii "hype" is coming to an end in this? Last I checked, the Wii sold almost 14 million units worldwide, while the PS3 is still under 6: http://www.vgchartz.com. The PS3 still has a long way to go to catch up to the 360's market share, let alone the Wii. This won't happen until more quality exclusive titles come out next year.
I think the boost in sales has more to do with the holiday season coming and people (like myself) grabbing the 60GB models before they disappear.
And to call something "hype" in the same post as "i think it's all about branding", lol. Go back to your bridge and stop flame-baiting.
