You've already tuned in to see Nokia's newfangled N82 get
unboxed on video, so here's yet another one to feast your eyes on. HP's
kinda-sorta delayed iPAQ 100 has finally made its way out (in a non-commercial box, though) to be pored over, and
PocketPCThoughts took the time to carefully unbox the unit, spin it around a time or two and toss out a few first impressions for good measure. Granted, you're not likely to find any edge-of-your-seat suspense here, but those still on the fence about picking this thing up can hopefully get a better feel for it after peeping the video posted beyond the jump.

*** SPOILERS ****
When he removed the 100 and surprise - the battery was behind it, that was my favorite part!
When he started pulling the box apart to see if there was anything else hidden in there, I could hear my heart pounding but was not rewarded when there wasn't anything else found. I didn't like that part very much.

"Ops I dropped it" - Quality...I doubt that HP would like you anymore... You know what that means? No more pre-release products from HP...
I do prefer the HP 210 (or whatever it's called) but its being Delayed SOO many times that I almost think it'll be coming out Q1 2009....
Great video... Rushed but still useful...

Looks good ... though it's getting harder to go with a device that doesn't have phone capabilities ....

Wow...that was like watching grass get pulled...or uh, getting teeth grown...

Why the hell does nobody recognise a UK plug?!?!?! Seriously, I know what a US plug looks like!!!
Hung @ Nov 17th 2007 9:49PM
"This plug here is for Europe"
I'm pretty sure that the United Kingdom is located somewhere in, near, or around Europe.
Simon @ Nov 17th 2007 11:08PM
So presumably you will know that the plug he was talking about when he said that is a continental european plug, not a UK plug. The UK plug is the 3-pronged one that he unpacks last, and evidently has no clue about.

Why give him high ranking?? He's a smartass, and he was wrong!
Hung @ Nov 20th 2007 10:45PM
Yeah bro, sucks, don't it?

No kickstand. I refuse to buy another PDA type device that doesn't have a kickstand. I will wait for the Cowon Q5. It runs Windows CE so it will sync with my desktop applications.

If you aren't getting a PDA phone, you might as well get a VGA PDA - not really getting who would want this other than kids in grades 1-8.

Was gonna say the size and rubberized back reminds me of the HTC Excalibur/T-Mobile Dash, best phone.

I love the way he gets out the power adapters, picks up the one for the UK and has no idea which country its from. Gotta love them Americans ;)
