Bluetrek unveils the Sense touch-sensitive Bluetooth headset
Although we've certainly seen our share of glitz in the Bluetooth headset market, thankfully several manufacturers have realized that the less noticed a headset is, the better -- and Bluetrek's new Sense headset seems as low-key as any. The piano black device features a touch-sensitive talk button, voice alerts for common functions like redialing and pairing, voice dialing, and a detachable thin support wire designed for glasses-wearers. At £49 ($100), it's not necessarily the deal of the century, but it'll definitely stack up well against similarly austere headsets when it goes on sale early next year.

The only thing left to make this headset "perfect" would be if they did indeed ditch that idiotic, bright-as-the-sun flashing blue LED. I haven't seen any headsets (but then again I don't keep up with the BT headset scene) that DON'T constantly flash bright blue. So annoying.

paul...the jawbone flashes white :) also it doesnt pulse it more lights up and fades so you look less like an airplane passing by haha

the Apple Bluetooth headset doesn't flash at all, is held directly in your ear without going in your ear canal and is the most subtle and unobtrusive headset out. This design is somewhat similar like the link in the article shows.

Actually, the Cardo Scala 700 allows you to turn the blue flashing light off. That was one of it's best features too, imho.

hmm i wonder how good the digital sound processing is on it...i like the idea of something that makes wearing glasses with the headset more comfortable...except for the jx10 (when i didnt have its earhook on) i have yet to find a headset that goes well with a baseball hat and sunglasses on at the same time

The more minimal and hidden the headset, the more like a crazy person you look.

I don't know, when I see people with larger, noticeable BT headsets, it makes me think that some alien bug is attempting to mate with their earhole. That someone would allow that makes them pretty crazy in my book.

Lol so the choices are now: schizo vs. alien?

especially when you start talking to yourself!

Voice alerts sounds awesome. I hate having to relearn all the beeps every time I lose my headset. This sounds a lot closer to what BT headsets should be than all the others.

That color is not less noticed , neither are the lines. How about one the size of a hearing aid
