I'm tellin' ya....Zelda has never been a disappointment, and it's the same w/Nintendo DS. Great game!...highly recommended!

I'd totally go for the gold one. I couldn't care less about Nintendogs, but Zelda always kicks ass.
Sam's Club was passing out flyers on Saturday (and perhaps before that) advertising these two packages for $149.99, so there's really not much question to this at all.

Oh...I guess I thought that's what they were referring to when they said "Sometimes those rumors are spot-on." - I didn't click through.
The rumours about the "new" DS are that it won't come out for quite a while as the NDSLite sales are still so strong that a new one needs to come about to pick up sales. The PSP wasn't doing well so the PSP Slim was released. The rumours are that the DS3 will be even slimmer, lighter, and have a larger screen and longer battery life... but to do this they'd have to remove the GBA slot.... which isn't likly to happen.
Agreed - Nintendo usually has very nice packaging design.
God. I hate those Mac Vs PC commercials. They are even worse than Taco Bell commercials.

People People the only thing you should be excited about is the R4 evolution for the Nintendo DS.. Don't know what it is? Looks it up on Google .. It's the greatest thing since slice bread..
It's Revolution for DS (R4DS), not "R4 evolution for the Nintendo DS"; and the CycloDS, G6DS, and M3 Real get better reviews.
It's annoying that the Nintendogs edition is pink. My son would love a Nintendogs DS with the paw print logo, but not in pink. Why not something that is reminiscent of dog colors? Say, black and white?

If you don't care about video games, you'd have the patience to wait the 3 years it'll take crystal space and ioq3 derivatives using bullet to catch up to Halo 2.

The DS could be an interesting toy, but it doesn't have a proper MMU, and I think the graphics are locked down or something. Basically, if you're going to use it as a PC, the performance isn't great, the security is horrible, and the application availability is pathetic.
The PS3 is a different story, but sadly, not /that/ different. The 360 and the Wii I won't touch with a five foot pole.

Disappointed by the Zelda DS design. I think it should be reversed so it doesn't look upside-down when open, and the placement is odd ...
I would've liked a white DS lite with a very metallic gold Triforce smack-dab in the middle, but that's just me.
When it's open, the top would likely be facing down.. where nobody can see it. Unless they're underneath you, for some odd reason, and there is light situated upwards.
