Aren't you a little short for a lightsaber?
once another party comes out with a version of this there are gonna be endless arguments over whose lightsaber is bigger.

The Wii is not a video game system. It's a toy.
I never believed in the Wii until I caught my younger cousins watching www.pornotube.com on it.
My first reaction was:
THIS THING GETS PORNOTUBE !?!
The Wii is fun - and it doesn't make its way in the market by giving small-sabered gung-ho military wannabees a feeling of manhood. Nor does it let you "play" sports that your pencil neck frame won't support in the real world.

I had a similar experience with my younger brother doing the exact same thing. My god, I started cracking up so hard seeing different porn sites on the family room tv hooked up through the 5.1 and everything.
I myself occasionally jump on it and check up on engadget or joystiq if I'm feeling especially lazy or tired at the moment.
Damn toys, I mostly use my PS3 for typing legal documents and research.
Can't be doin' with all that fun rubbish.

lol please tell me you're not basing the fun factor of the Wii off of Red Steel? In that case, if you are, wood chip it up, Red Steel sucks (in my opinion of course, sloppy controls). If you're only referring to sword swinging games, though, try Twilight Princess.

I hate to bring this up now that they're presumably in production already, but how does the remote see the sensor bar? You can't assume that the games that would use it will rely strictly on the accelerometer in the remote.
Who doesn't love a great Wii add-on, especially of the nerdy categories?
