Guitar Hero III wireless guitars hitting early 2008
If the endless amount of platform combinations between Rock Band and Guitar Hero III have you stymied already, here's a little tidbit to make it just a little bit harder to choose: Guitar Hero III wireless controller are going to be available early next year for all platforms. Rock Band has wireless controllers on the way in a similar time frame for both the 360 and PS3, but for some reason the 360 version costs an extra $20, so hopefully Guitar Hero guitars keep some better price parity.

oops don't mind that last comment.. meant to reply to my last one.. browser glitch.
When i said all consoles, i really meant the PS3, PS2, and the 360 since the Wii is nothing more than a kids toy.
I also gathered information from this news item in Gamespot, which indicated that none of the consoles (as well as the Wii) currently have stand-alone guitars available (the Les Paul and Kramer):

And i didn't realize the grammar police patrolled Engadget. When did that start happening?
WILL THE GUITAR FOR GUITAR HERO INTERACT WITH THE GUITAR HERO III..IT IS A CORDED GUITAR. I PURCHASED THE GUITAR HERO III PACKAGE AND WANTED TO GET ANOTHER GUITAR FOR THIS UNIT.
I'm having a great time with Guitar Hero III for the Wii, regardless of the monaural issue. I hope that they update the game for Stereo sound, but it really isn't that big of a deal... and that is coming from an audiophile. Music is basically mono at most concerts in any case, and though I prefer Stereo for accurate imaging and soundstaging, this is not my hi-fi rig, it is a video game. ;)
