Star NX788 mobile holds your BT headset for you
It's not like we haven't seen this idea -- or a close alternative, actually -- conjured up before, but apparently, the Star NX788 is actually taking things beyond the drawing board. This handset features a convenient cubbyhole for your Bluetooth headset, meaning that you'll no longer have to shove it in your pocket only to find all sorts of lint and bacteria clinging on when you chose to use it again. Additionally, the unit sports dual SIM card slots, Chinese handwriting input, a microSD expansion slot, Bluetooth / A2DP support, integrated 1.3-megapixel camera, and a 2.6-inch 320 x 240 touchscreen display. Yeah, we think it looks a little gimmicky too, but those enamored by all this added utility can snag one overseas for around $190.

something tells me this thing does not really run windows mobile despite the background pic.... idk though, that bt stow-a-way feature is pretty advanced....
What about Android? OpenMoko?
$190 seems really cheap if it really has all those features.
Gimmicky? Twin SIM cards and an expansion slot? Seems pretty desirable to me - despite the rest of the stuff.
lol... it looks like junk. Great feature set though. You also have got to love the name of the distributer: T One Mobile. Only in China!
The headset storage is kind of a cool idea; it seems to reduce the chance of misplacing the ear-piece. What would make it even cooler would be if it CHARGED the headset while it's in storage.
The downside, it kind of locks you in to their headset which, in this case, is an ugly piece of crap.
It's possible the headset is being charged through induction. (Requires no electrical contacts)
Gimmicky? How so? Just because someone can make a better phone than the usual suspects, it's not believable?
Dual sims and built in charging for the headset? Great features that I would LOVE to see in a North American cell phone sometime in the next century.
Nice idea, but that really adds to the thickness of the phone.
I like it a lot. I hate carrying a cell phone, headset, audio player. It doesn't even look that thick. Where can I get one?

looks like a great place for a young male to store something with green leaves.
