I've developed a replacement for the switch mechanism of the strum bar of the Rock Band guitars. I'm currently looking for a few beta testers - so if you have a broken guitar, or just want to improve the feel of the strum bar, let me know by dropping me a line at guitar@bytearts.com.
There is no charge involved -- but you will need to install the replacement yourself and provide feedback to us.
BTW, by my calculations, the original switches in the guitar will typically fail after 50-100 songs ! (Depending on how hard you use it). Overall the guitar is pretty well designed and built, but the original strum bar switch is really sub-standard.

Same problem as Naiterbaiter , over a month later, wtf! Bad EA! Was fun while it worked though.
