Having just gone thru a three ring circus (without the midget to keep it funny) trying to get my RB guitar replaced, I finally spoke with a few of their tech and warranty folks, and have learned some nifty inside tips. 1) Do NOT use the website to get your guitar replaced; it seems that they are having ongoing problems with it, and as an added bonus, your card might be hit multiple times for the single replacement, which probably will not arrive (this from their tech support people!!) 2) May as well get the bass drum pedal replaced, as according to the pilot fish I started with, he is seeing more of those breaking than the guitars. 3) when you are done with the whole thing, go to http://www.illwillpress.com, click on toons, and then look for the one titled "Tech Support"...make sure to start with the first one...#'s 2,3,4 are funny, but not up to the caliber of the original one.
Good luck to all of us...and remember to check your credit card statements, in the oh so unlikely event that you are multi-charged, or they "forget" to cancel the hold when they receive the BAG (busted @$$ guitar) back from you. I know I will be.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
