Actually, it sort of is. You know how all Verizon phones come with that same Verizon OS? I'm told they do that so it's easier to trouble shoot and service the phones. An industry standard phone OS like Android will do much the same thing.

I am glad they are taking this on...but it appears to be exactly opposite of what they have been doing.
