Those looking for a bit more functionality from
TiVoCast can fix their attention on the latest addition, which allows broadband-enabled boxes to access a wide variety of Music Choice videos and original programming. In an effort to further differentiate its DVRs from the standard fare doled out by cable companies, TiVo is providing its customers with access to Music Choice's "catalog of several thousand music videos," and it's noted that the number of selections is expected to "grow significantly in the coming weeks." The service, which is available immediately, will be offered up gratis to subscribers, and Dave Zatz has already had a chance to sit down (albeit briefly) with the new offering and give it a spin. I'd rather have XM Radio than Music Choice. Much better channel selection....
Sirius / XM (post merger) would be ideal. The best of the music channels (hopefully without commercials) combined with the best of all the talk and sports.
After that, all I would need is some good downloadable HD content and I'd be all set.
It may speak of my age, but I shall state, vehemently, for the record,...I want my MTV.
Not the frakking dung that channel's been dishing out for the last two decades. Give the the classics ya dweebs.

I think a lot of us around here are of that age. Just ask them if they know who the Buggles were. :)
Unfortunately, MTV2 had been all videos up until about three years ago and then it, too, fell to the barrages of Johnny Knoxville and Xhibit and bi-curious sex on The Real World.
MTV Tres, Hits and Jams are mostly videos... but I don't speak Spanish or particularly like pop hits or enjoy most rap. :(
However, I'm curious to see what I can find on the Music Choice selection since it is video-based.
What I really want to see is Pandora on TiVo for music videos. That would be ideal.
