USB missile launcher goes wireless
Never content with leaving their gimmicky products as is, the perfectionists over at Brando are prepping yet a third iteration of the wildly-popular USB missile launcher, with the new model featuring an upgrade to wireless control. Cubicle commandos now have over a 15-foot range from their workstations to wage this geekiest form of warfare, thanks to a two-part system that connects transmitter and launcher with a proprietary RF signal. If you happen to work in the type of environment that condones this sort of silly behavior, or just want to go out with a bang, the set can be yours for $45 starting on the 20th.

Nice, now you can place the missile launcher where it can actually defend you from the invasors

This is like playing AIR SOFT in a business environment.
Its too dangerous and too time consuming. Offices have already banned these things.
Imagine the kinda lawsuit you'd face if someone got hit in the eye?

You are bumming me out, man. I was all set to introduce my USB Office Flamethrower, but now you've pretty much killed my dream.

Hit in the eye from a nerf gun?
Quit whining.
Andrew @ Dec 12th 2007 9:56AM
Nerf banned? What is the world coming to?

Well, I seem to still have a wired USB missile launcher not three feet from my head that hasn't been confiscated...
carsten @ Dec 12th 2007 9:45AM
I bet it only works with windows, dammit.
Robin @ Dec 12th 2007 9:58AM

Mort @ Dec 12th 2007 10:26AM
So, will this allow hacking into your enemy missile silo via your wireless connection?
Imagine the levels of warfare this will introduce.

It looks to me that this works via IR as opposed to RF. The red tinted lens inside a white dish is the tip-off. The linked website says nothing about RF and only mentions the product is "wireless".
