Doesn't look right when the N81 has Xenon flash. Trust me the new flagship will have Xenon flash and every new innovation found in other Nokia N series phones. If anything I think the new flagship will have S60 touchscreen.
People are just getting too carried away with TS. Standard is still buttons, Nokia has 46%(2006) of smartphone sales and they dont have any TS phones of course. So dont think they got hurry to start changing their portfolio to TS orientated.
So you have some rumor from April 2007? Wow. Whatever this is it won't be the new flagship. The new flagship will at least have Xenon flash. Given how early that post was made, it was probably a preview of the N81.
Don't lecture me about TS. I have an N95 and I know TS isn't everything, but that's the direction Nokia is headed. They won't get rid of the buttons we all know and love. It will be a great adjunctive input method.
The Nokia Flagship is the N95 8GB for N-series and E90 for the E-series - not the N82. Although I like the N82 and if I could afford both an N95 and N82 I would get both. The lack of US 3G on the N82 is the reason I haven't switched.

I own the new flagship Nokia. It's called the N82 and it's magnificent.
