Maybe when these companies start producing accessories for the better DAPs out there (iRiver, Creative etc) then we can stop people buying iPods then having to buy a new one a year later when the battery dies.
My iPod Mini has lasted for as long as it's inception with "constant" use and the original battery! Take that, pathetic sap for inferior electronic devices!
