Tutondo's hanging spherical speakers give ceilings more purpose
We know, the roof over your head does a few things well -- namely protecting you from the elements -- but why not give it one more duty while it's just sitting around up there? Tutondo's hanging spherical speakers probably aren't the best choice if you're looking to set up a true surround sound system, but if you're aiming to spread audio all around your abode for that New Year's party, these should do the trick. Not to mention the style factor here, which should net you at least a couple of compliments from those in the know. The speakers are available in a plethora of colors, and house 5-inch drivers that can handle around 20-watts of constant power. Sadly, we're not sure if these are being distributed in North America, but those overseas can check 'em out for around €90 ($129) per.[Via Unplggd]

I'd have to get 'em in gray, of course, to maintain that whole Death Star feel... wonder how difficult it would be to wire in some green LEDs to boune with the music for effect? :D
+1 That would be so awesome!
that's exactly what i was thinking! but then i would have to get rid of the real death star hanging from my ceiling.
Don't use these at a Boston Airport!
These look just like those department store orb cams - with the bottom cut out.
I guess if you have a fetish for being watched - but your too fat for swing parties and too poor for a real cam - this would do.
The first foot below my ceiling is relatively unused. Good idea.
Plus you can cover them with little mirrors and dance the night away.
20 watts? I could get more out of my clock/radio...
That'd be 20W RMS....that's actually quite a lot.
Don't know if I want random testicles hanging around my house.....
The 70s called.... they are asking for the decor back.
If your testicles have flat bottoms you should try not sitting on them! :-D
If you are planning on purchasing this, I did a little research at Tutondo.com. I recommend the model CSR105 instead of the CSR205. The 105 has much much better sound quality.
