If I were you, I would worry more about what is going to happen when you forget to take that out of your ear while going through a security checkpoint in the Heathrow Airport in London.
The Argard M10, which seems to be the same headphones, is made in plastic so it won't matter. I wouldn't want it to be metal anyway, it's be too heavy.

Don't you think that A) Airport security are already used to all kinds of strange gadgets and B) that your alarmist post is a little over the top?

Rummy: Personally, I do not think that airport security is used to anything nor do I think they use what used to be called common sense.
