Screen is absolutely amazing. Only - i have found is the size(as faithfull communicator user this hasent been too big of a problem to me)and for those rare North American users missing 3G cant be too good.
Well it's S60 everybody for its own, but for now 67% of the globe seems to think it's OS for them. Test it before you buy at least i havent ever bought a phone before i have tested it....
Well the iPhone does NOT have a removable battery and it is locked. The E90 also has a memory slot for TransFlash cards. I think that the iPhone and E90 are in two different categories, but I DO think that the iPhone is far inferior.
Being from Pittsburgh it disturbs me to think that I may very well be living within range of a "negligent discharge from a 12 Gauge Shotgun loaded with 00 Buckshot"
I graduated from Penn State so I know exactly what you're talking about! We actually found a .30 cal rifle bullet lodged in the deck of our house while i was living up there. I'm not anti gun ownership at all, but it'd sure be nice if they gave a basic intelligence test before you could buy. Something like the concealed carry permit tests.
Whelp... that would be my phone ;) And yes, I did spend more then $900 for it... and no I didn't do it intentionally.
I've been handling firearms for 20 years and this is the first time I've had an accident - at lest the only thing damaged was my pride and my phone ;)

Man, Dick Cheney has issues.

"For parts only" - And which "parts" would that be??
chris @ Dec 28th 2007 11:14AM
any parts to the left of the keyboard =)
Josef @ Dec 28th 2007 7:57AM
Well, anything on the left side.

Nice looking phone... are the E90's any good? I'm debating one of them or a touch- since I've heard they both can connect via Wi-Fi.
Richard @ Dec 28th 2007 6:11AM
If you want bouncing icons and lots of next to useless eye candy get a Touch. If you want a functional enterprise PDA/Phone get an E90.
xbit @ Dec 28th 2007 7:21AM
It's very decent, but it's only got European 3G. Other than that, good keyboard, decent camera, good Bluetooth support, GPS, very nice screen, etc.

"Nice looking phone... are the E90's any good?"
Well . . . normally I would say yeah, but apparently the interface must be frustrating.

The iPod touch is not a phone.
starkruzr @ Dec 28th 2007 1:31PM
The E90 is kind of a bad purchase in the US. No 3G and $600 more expensive than an iPhone.

I'm only interested in getting something that connects to Wi-fi and is portable. The cell part is secondary... E90, Touch... or DS:
My 55yr old (ex cop, ex army) buddy at work says he just got a nintendo DS that he checks his email and surfs with. What about that?
Any suggestions?
blaktornado @ Dec 28th 2007 6:57AM
By the looks of it, WOO FREE BULLET!

Holy rusted metal, Batman!

I'm wondering how he missed.. Was this at 100 ft or something?
L @ Dec 28th 2007 8:29AM
I'm with you, how they heck do you miss something like that with a shotgun!?
apw76006 @ Dec 28th 2007 9:23AM
"Why GPS baby Jesus? Whyyyyyyy?"
Korean Avenger @ Dec 28th 2007 9:51AM
Roberto, I can't believe you whipped out a "Batman Forever" quote, and I'm ashamed to say that I recognized it.
roberto @ Dec 28th 2007 10:56AM
...and I'm surprised you recognized it!
Joshua Walters @ Dec 28th 2007 10:20AM
At least hes being honest about the whole thing.
barrywoods @ Dec 28th 2007 10:56AM

Reader @ Dec 28th 2007 11:42AM
Finally, I've been looking for a cheap new phone.

What a moron.

Being from Pa myself I'm only surprised it didn't come from the middle of the state (civilization at the ends, inbreeding in the middle)

Hah!

yeah... but will it blend?

"..Meets it's maker"? So after the device was shot, it was shipped back to Nokia's factory? That seems odd.

"Like new! Slightly shotgunned!"
I have an uneasy feeling there's someone in Pittsburgh walking/hobbling around with only a portion of a leg.
