Quite honestly, it's hard to know where to start with this one. Should we bash on the totally unlicensed Mercedes-Benz logo curiously adorning the front? Or should we begin by trying to put into words just how hideous this device truly is? The QKfone G998 is reportedly a GPS-equipped handset with a built-in microSD expansion slot, a 2-megapixel camera, an internal (2.8-inch) and external (1.8-inch) display and a world map plastered on the back for an extra dash of classiness. Apparently, the phone sports tri-band GSM connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 and a full-fledged media player to keep you occupied when not hiding this thing away from public sight. No word on a price, but trust us, it's for the best.

Their marketing guy is probably working hard to come up clever name for that "MB" logo look-a-like control. What could cooler than click-wheel and sillier than squircle?

I don't know, everyone else has buttons, screen, and logo at the front of the phone, but how did they manage to make it so ugly? Dang...
Engadget should show us the ten most ugly mobiles this year (in there opinion) and have us all vote on which is truly the ugliest mobile of 2007 and which is second and so on.

Truth is you can just things by their cover pretty well & come out right most of the time.
They should make that screen smaller.

I thought that perhaps the designer might be colorblind and that made it worse, but when I look at it in B&W it's just as fugly.

I honestly don't think it would be as ugly if the screen was bigger. I hate that when DAPs have small screens and a big frame around it. It makes it look ugly. Wow, I should be designing these things!
what's so ugly about it? I really think it looks not bad... well, the screen could be bigger, the MB logo does not make it better or worse... I think the numeric keys look nice... anyway, i just don't get why all you guys are looking this like the ugliest phone ever...
