My wife bought this camera for me with along with the G613 printer dock. She appreciates that it is easy to use as well as compact. I have another "easy share" with 10X optical zoom that is great for some things, but can be clunky because of the lens size.
I use the 10X for player close ups from the nose bleed seats at an NFL game or maybe Yankee Stadium. This one will be great for picnics, family parties, backpacking, etc.
Memory cards are cheap now (2GB for $18), so that is really not a problem. I will not know if I miss a view finder until we get some SUNLIGHT in western NY *-)
OK, perhaps this is not for the elitist photographer, but for the average person (dilletantes like me) it seems like a great camera. I can make simple prints right from the camera or play with them using Photoshop software.
I cannot comment on the dock, since I have not tested it yet.
