Wolfking's Warrior Xxtreme gets reviewed
Are you ready for a blast of the obvious? If so, head on down to the read link and take a look at Extreme Tech's review of the Warrior Xxtreme. Wolfking's latest gamepad is obviously aiming at a smallish niche, and while it proved to be quite the device to have while gaming, it's not exactly the easiest thing to pound out a dissertation on. 'Course, we sincerely hope you didn't expect anything other than precisely those results, and it should be noted that Wolfking did a swell job of catering to righties and southpaws alike. Overall, we've serious doubts that touch-typists will be keen on swapping out their ergonomic split 'board for this thing, but hunt-and-peckers that spend the majority of their time in WoW raids may find lots to love.

I'm more a fan of the Z Board. I've always hated wasd *gasp* and usually swapped it out for the Num Pad, so the Z Board works fine for me.

Hmm. Swap out my all purpose keyboard for a gaming-centric one everytime I wanna play healbot.. or use a Belkin Nostromo N52. WolfKing FTL!
Ok, I can see this appealing to FPS players and MMO folks that just CAN'T get away from WASD. But this thing is like trying to invent the wheel using polygons. "What if it had EIGHT corners?" Just cut to the chase, and get a wheel. Or in the case of this poorly designed metaphor, a dedicated left-handed controller.

Har, har, I would like to try to get some real work done with this kind of keyboard. What kind of looks you might get when using this at the office . . . ;)

this thing doesn't look too bad considering how many hotkeys/binds/macros you need for wow or whatever. i just would hate having to type on another keyboard. more junk on my small table.

People really need to stop trying to fix what's not broken.

If I'm not mistaken, this is a solution looking for a problem. I foresee teeny-tiny sales.

Someone should try an experiment and have their kid learn to use a computer using that keyboard. Then after a few months, swap it out with a normal one. How many times will he hit the K key trying to reach for 0?
