Engadget podcast fans, good news! I'll be bringing back the podcast for the duration of CES, with our editorial team and a special guest or two sitting in on the show to discuss the big news in Vegas. So fire up your podcast aggregator / iTunes / Zune Marketplace, or keep an eye on the
Engadget podcast feed, because the show will be back on the air for next week and next week only!
And on the video front, we're teaming up with CNET-expat and Engadget ladyfriend Veronica Belmont and her excellent team at
Mahalo Daily, who will help round out Engadget's up to the minute video coverage. We're expecting great things, so be sure to check back for Engadget + Mahalo Daily (and all the rest of our video) out at the
Engadget video tag.

Too bad Mahalo Daily is blocked at work... falls into the "adult" category according to the filter. Must be due to those racy pics.. like that one above with the Dr. P.

I already have far too many Newsfeeds and podcasts covering the very same CES'08 stories as it is at the moment thanks all the same guys.
As it happens though, I seem to see Ms. Belmont often enough through all of my other podcasts anyway, it made me chucle to see her here too. Unfortunately, despite all the direct and indirect plugging of this 'Mahalo' whatsit, I simply haven't the time for yet another tech podcast.
I'm gorged for gadget content as it is.
bugatti23007 @ Jan 4th 2008 5:41PM
she's freaking hot!!!!!!I wish I could have her.
jd @ Jan 4th 2008 6:02PM
how can she work in this field? whenver she talks, all her audience are imagining her naked. geez
Jason @ Jan 4th 2008 6:19PM
I like how anonymity makes people think they can say anything they want about another guy's girlfriend. Sure she's cute but jeese guys have some respect.
L.Rawlins @ Jan 4th 2008 6:40PM
Sadder than any of the lust ridden commentary thus far directed at Ms. Belmont is probably the fact that shortly after reading your comment I now find myself humming a very particular song.
...
R-E-... Yeah, I'll get my coat.
Darnell @ Jan 4th 2008 9:39PM
Though, I'm sure it's mostly done in jest, I whole-heartedly agree.
Andrew Zen @ Jan 4th 2008 6:30PM
Is Engadget about technology or about hot girls? I always get confused as to which it is when I start reading the comments.
superted @ Jan 4th 2008 7:06PM
Yeah, I agree.
Girls are sick... Tech, sex on legs.
tuna @ Jan 4th 2008 6:31PM
"Sour grapes" said the brown fox.

Hey, Is this one of those posts where you put in your comments and you win stuff? If so please do count me in. I would sure love to win Ms. Belmont
John Bell @ Jan 4th 2008 7:34PM
Now I remember why I almost never read the comments on YouTube, iTunes, or Engadget. You know, would it be too hard for someone to mention, say, "gee, Veronica has a great show!" or "It's nice to see another intelligent woman covering tech news". Obviously she's very attractive, but give it a rest and go watch some pr0n or something.
Give me an intelligent and funny woman like Veronica over the booth babe bimbo lookalikes any day.
PineappleClock @ Jan 4th 2008 11:35PM
Two pages and only one Castlevania reference... I am dissapointed
Aniruddh Chaturvedi @ Jan 8th 2008 12:03PM
Well I've been a Veronica fan since like May '07..
She was on Buzz out loud and an employee of cnet...
shes now on mahalo daily... pretty good stuff but half of it aint tech!
shes pretty good... in all spheres like talking, looks, knowledge, intelligence, etc...
shes also on twit and ive seen her on cranky geeks too...
shes my favorite host!
tekdemon @ Jan 5th 2008 5:10AM
Haha, internet nerds drooling all over this. I doubt Ryan has much to fear from the sketchtacular internet masses though, lol.
Veronica has always kinda reminded me of Sandra Bullock for some reason, might be her voice.
Jonathandavidweinberg @ Jan 5th 2008 7:23AM
Uhhhh.....not saying she isn't pretty but....
Engadget has a podcast?! F`ing SWEET!
Sim @ Jan 5th 2008 8:04AM
Nah ryan's clearly just stockpiling now for the army of geeks about to beat down his dooor...
But i wonder what with stop them faster, a 12 guage or just throwing product samples?
OneLove @ Jan 5th 2008 4:53PM
good things come to those who blog.
The Joker @ Jan 5th 2008 5:13PM
Damn, she's a hottie!!
Dean Winters @ Jan 5th 2008 7:08PM
you're a lucky man Ryan Block...
icepop4who @ Jan 5th 2008 11:42PM
damn Veronica, why would you leave cnet? i mean i know cnet isn't the most objective site in the tech world, but heck it's a huge company. I stopped listening to BOL after VB left.
i don't get mahalo at all. it's like a pathetic attempt to merge hawaii with tech. you know, gadgets don't go well with surfing.
Mako @ Jan 7th 2008 9:50AM
This job must do wonders for her self esteem. =) With all those positive comments, she must feel pretty good about herself. =)
meteorplum @ Jan 7th 2008 7:40PM
Is there a feed with the videos links exposed before the jumps? I'd like to see these on my iPod and they're not on the Engadget podcast feed, nor do I see anything if I give iTunes the CES or AV club specific feeds.
