We're interested in the idea behind Logitech's
diNovo Mini keyboard, a $150 Bluetooth remote for your Windows Media Center which promises to make couch surfing a little more convenient. If our
hands-on gallery really communicated the device's sleek aesthetic (if not it's functionality) then let
Mahalo Daily's Veronica Belmont show you the rest, after the break.

Lovely keyboard which I badly want, but is sadly a $101 too much for me.
Bobby @ Jan 6th 2008 6:51AM
anybody knows what model is the laptop ?
catapults.music @ Jan 6th 2008 6:42AM
It's safe to assume this will work outside of Media Center in the normal Windows environment, right? If so, two sold right here.
Chris @ Jan 6th 2008 6:49AM
It shows you in the video that you can use it with a web browser.
Note that you can also use it with a PS3.
Tech^Cellfish @ Jan 6th 2008 7:14AM
If this works with the PS3 (also in PS3 ubuntu) I'm getting one :)
Nih @ Jan 6th 2008 6:52AM
That looks by far the breast media center keyboard I've seen in a while.
andyo @ Jan 6th 2008 7:59AM
Freudian slips FTW!
Nih @ Jan 6th 2008 5:43PM
It wasn't a nip.. er, slip.
Sam Zebian @ Jan 6th 2008 6:54AM
What's the point in that? It's bulky, it may be smaller than a wireless keyboard, but I have the Microsoft 8000 series backlit keyboard (The "Ultimate" keyboard), and it has full media controls, a built-in mouse pad thingy (like on a laptop, but a little smaller), is very light, and appears to be about as thin as this device. I would rather have this full sized but light keyboard than that thing, which I wouldn't use much. Since I use my keyboard all the time (who doesn't), I get my money's worth.
Fermit @ Jan 6th 2008 10:46AM
Guess this product is not for you then, eh? News Flash: not all consumer devices are for Sam Zebian. Film at 11.
Sam Zebian @ Jan 6th 2008 3:30PM
I'm just saying that it's probably a better choice to get a full sized wireless keyboard than this thing.
Nih @ Jan 6th 2008 5:46PM
full size keyboards are a pain on the couch. More often than not they fall off something or knock drinks off the coffee table, if you can find room for the drinks with a huge fuggin keyboard there. And don't get my started about the fetish cats have for lying on keyboards.
I'll take a little one with a cover any day.
John Bailey @ Jan 6th 2008 10:17PM
It's a niche product. Not intended to be used with a full desktop computer for day to day use or gaming, but as a simple occasional use keyboard and mouse for a media centre PC.
Being small enough to be impossible to touch type on is a selling point, not a disadvantage.
周鹏 @ Jan 6th 2008 7:16AM
one of the best company for living/bed room!
Nih @ Jan 6th 2008 5:47PM
Yes, she would be wouldn't she.
Oh, you mean the keyboard?
Chris @ Jan 7th 2008 3:03PM
I would agree, she has the right equipment for good use in the bedroom.
john @ Jan 6th 2008 7:36AM
Too bad the hinge probably isn't strong enough to support gluing my N800 to the cover, to make a tiny laptop :-)
Still, could be a nice companion keyboard for the Nokia IT family.
Camperton @ Jan 6th 2008 9:06AM
Looks very nice. Lose the lid though.

$149? ok thanks for trying, see you next time.
Or drop $100 off that price.
reid_sartin @ Jan 6th 2008 10:05AM
I've been using Logitech's original DiNovo Edge keyboard and the MX Air Mouse together for about a year now on my home-built media center PC. They are expensive -- but they've been worth every penny to me. There's the tech-cred you get from others - plus the fact that they look nice enough to have out in your living room - plus the pure functionality built into them. $150 only SOUNDS like a lot until you use one of these things. By the way - the DiNovo Edge also works on the PS3, but you have to lock in the link between them - it only handles one relationship at a time - no switching like the Mini is promising. I'll be first in line for it.
Adoniteking @ Jan 6th 2008 10:38AM
the keyboard is really interesting but i wonder why they didnt make the casing cover to open up to a 360 degree angle instead of the laptop-like opening. Also it would be good if this would work with the LG watch phone as it would make a few functions easier and give it some smartphone capabilities
stickmanfc73_ @ Jan 6th 2008 11:28AM
OH nm. $149 is too rich for my blood. I'll wait for the price slashing to start.
rockstar @ Jan 6th 2008 12:34PM
I hope this could turn on and off PS3.
revaaron @ Jan 6th 2008 2:01PM
I want this so bad.
signal360 @ Jan 6th 2008 10:15PM
@Nih Freudian slip perhaps? I mean.. I like Veronica Belmont as well but...
ed. @ Jan 7th 2008 1:45AM
HOT!
and that keyboard is pretty sweet as well...
wolfgang @ Jan 7th 2008 4:11AM
I would pay $150, but would rather see it around $100. Also, I want to know about using this on a Mac, I'm not a big Windows fan (but I'm forced to use them for school).
doublej @ Jan 7th 2008 4:41AM
this is listed at 99 UK pounds on the logitech website. thats 200 USD.
slick it might be, but at that price, they can stick one, possibly more, right where the sun don't shine.
