So you have personally had problems with combos, or are you just going by somthing you read on the internet? If you do have a problem, search avsforum.com for a guy named AmirM. He asked for anybody who had problems to contact him so that he can get all the disks they can to find problems. He got a total of 17 disks, all had defects like scratches - nothing related to them being combos.
But looking over your post history I would bet you are just trolling, using yet another fictious excuse to make Blu sound better.
Blu Ray burners and media are widely available. HD DVD burners are practically non existent. It's no wonder Buffalo chose Blu Ray for burning since the alternative is nothing at all. Price of burners is far too expensive though. Can't wait until they drop under $200 since my backups are larger than a single DVD and its a pain span multiple discs to say the least.

I love the BD burning but only reading HD-DVDs combos....shows who should be #1 and who should die already.
