hmm $599...yea I'm good.

Wish I could've gone and checked out CES whilst I was in Vegas for my birthday...I ran in to the "designer of the keynotes" in the elevator at Treasure Island, but he wasn't very helpful when I asked him to hook it up and get me in free...might've been because I was pretty drunk.

Don't bother waiting. I've tested a few sets of A2DP headphones, and they all suck, but it's not their fault. A2DP is horrible, and full of compression artifacts. The better the headphones, the more you hear the compression.

I know that it's purely subjective, but I found A2DP audio about as annoying to listen to as a 96Kbps WMA file. If you're OK with that level of sound quality, then what do you need good sounding headphones for?

I'm not some snooty audiophile who thinks that everything needs to be lossless and that everyone should run out and buy $300 headphones. I realize that most people can't even tell the different between a 128Kbps MP3 file and the original CD. However, if you're at all interested in sound quality, you will not be interested in A2DP.
