This was one of the more impressive exhibits at CES 2008. However, what's not mentioned is that the technology that enables monitor expandability harnessed through USB uplink, is researched, developed and produced by a company called DisplayLink based in Palo Alto, CA. While USB technology is becoming more and more ubiquitous, DisplayLink engineering has set the standard for stable, lossless performance in expanding users' desktop workspace.
