Recall that elusive
wireless Lumix that Panasonic was developing in conjunction with T-Mobile? Turns out, Panny's still mulling over what camera to put the WiFi technology into, but the demo camera seen at CES was a
DMC-TZ3. If the on-site representative is to be believed, it'll first be seen in a point-and-shoot, but there's no definitive plans for it expand onto "a lot" of models. Hit up the gallery below if you're interested in seeing the technology in action -- from upload to Picasa viewing, it's all there.
Seems kind of pointless compared to the Eye-Fi Card. http://tinyurl.com/2o2n6a
Hell yeah...
You know what i'm damn sick of? Having to find that fucking USB cable, plug it in to both camera and PC and then locate the files...
What I want is a Camera that automatically syncs with a folder on my PC when it is near...
All you need to do is turn the camera on... then off...
This is what Iwant
Shouldn't you just take out the SD card (or whatever media your camera uses) and slide it in the cpu slot. No cables needed. Or if your PC doesn't have one, use a reader. I think it is very easy.
Nevertheless, I feel your pain with the cables. I'm tired of linking my PDA/phone, PMP, Camcorder, etc. via USB. Bluetooth needs to be faster or some new tech for wireless transfer.
An SD card will not fit in a CPU slot.
Depends which pins you cut
