Japan's getting a Mint Green PSP, you aren't
Sony's been quite liberal with its color options for the PSP over in Japan so far, and it doesn't look like things are switching up much with the PSP-2000 "slim." This time Sony's busting out a rather appetizing "Mint Green" PSP to the expectant hordes that haven't already gone broke buying the endless iterations already answered by the company. Of course, there's no word or expectation of an US release, so we're off to the art supplies shop for another set of acrylics.

sorry guys, my internet is sketchy, the packet was sent, but nothing was received.
Larrytheinternetguy @ Jan 9th 2008 9:53PM
I wouldn't get one but my girlfriend probably would. She gets almost anything green.
apw76006 @ Jan 9th 2008 11:40PM
Your girlfriend sounds like a fine young woman with a good head on her shoulders.
Morgan Percy @ Jan 10th 2008 12:25AM
including your money?
Geir E @ Jan 10th 2008 9:19AM
"It must be green. Supergreen."
Pentium @ Jan 9th 2008 9:55PM
I don't want a Green PSP...I want Skype on my Old Fatty PSP!
BigD145 @ Jan 9th 2008 10:00PM
It's just a faceplate. Note to Sony: release a plain aluminum faceplate and let buyers anodize it. Note to 3rd parties: release this before Sony does and corner the market in cheap alternatives like you already do.
Neoprimal @ Jan 10th 2008 12:59AM
If Sony makes them faceplate friendly, how will they get the breed of money they get from the few people willing to buy one in every color?
Sauerkraut @ Jan 9th 2008 9:59PM
DARN!!! I can't believe I'm missing out on this!

Yea so sorry for the double post, but how about fixing the psp before making it into 50 colors.
Tony @ Jan 10th 2008 4:03AM
fixing it how?
prateeko @ Jan 9th 2008 10:03PM
Mmmm, for that "just brushed clean" feeling!
Ipaq3115 @ Jan 9th 2008 10:05PM
Does it have Skype???
StrangeBum @ Jan 9th 2008 10:09PM
I maybe just a bit different than most folk around here, because I'm digging this mint green one. I like green on almost anything, and on this it isn't some obnoxious neon lime green, but a rather subdued mellow green. I like it a lot.
I have an old gen.1 PSP still and it's kicking around, alive, even though my analog nub is all fucked up. But I think that PSPs are better than ever now. Great games coming out for it. And I mean after, what, two maybe three years it's about time.
zerosozha @ Jan 9th 2008 10:55PM
Well, that's a shame :|

Am I the only guy who is reminded of the latest iPod shuffles?
apw76006 @ Jan 9th 2008 11:31PM
I must have it! Green, green, green, green! Sorry guys but I have this green weakness. Trust me, it would freak you out.
Paul @ Jan 10th 2008 12:31AM
do not want
SOOPERGOOMAN @ Jan 10th 2008 1:00AM
That is UGLY! Keep it over seas! Don't even let it be imported this way! It will lessen the aura that the PSP has! Whose lame idea was this?
Wwhat @ Jan 10th 2008 3:17AM
Looks like some medical device with that color, smart to not even try to sell it in the west.
Or add a bloodpressure/sugarlevel attachment maybe.
Superevil @ Jan 10th 2008 9:36AM
Good, they can keep it.
Jeff @ Jan 10th 2008 11:01AM
Not in the US!
But I love Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream!!!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Jess Q. @ Jan 10th 2008 1:34PM
I'd gladly trade in my Vader PSP for that. Much nicer looking. But uh, I'm a girl. I wouldn't guess too many guys would want it.
And I'd want pink but I already have a pink DS. Gotta change it up.
npChaos @ Jan 10th 2008 7:30PM
Great more portable gaming devices that consistently resemble toothpaste...

What percentage of Sony's target market, to your best estimate, has the equipment necessary to do a home anodization?
