Does anyone know if these Wimax devices are locked into Sprint? I hear their network is really open to devices and everything, and I'm quite excited as this year we finally get some Wimax devices for the consumer. Thing is, I live down in Colombia, where Wimax has already been available from an ISP for a while now. However, they don't sell any Wimax devices here, besides the router that you use to login to your connection.
Question is, would I be able to buy a Wimax-enabled Eee PC, Nokia, or anything and use it on *any* Wimax network? Not just XOHM?
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
