Its all but done. You can be 95% confident Blu-ray will be the only format for HD media. At this point there is very little Toshiba can do. Paramount/Universal seem likely to switch, both the Financial Times & Variety are incredibly reliable sources. Especially Variety in the entertainment industry, if they 'confirmed' Universal isn't renewing & Paramount is going to use the escape-clause as the article says, those are the final two nails in the HD-DVD coffin.

Please, Toshiba, give it up. Stick to making flash memory! Focus on that, so you can bring us cheap SSD hotness!
