Oh, that's gorgeous!
Why does it seem like half of these "crap" devices just normal gadgets designed for little girls? Is it making Engadget uncomfortable or something?
So far we have a pink and frilly laptop, pink and frilly TV, Tweety digital camera, spy kit for girls, and a pink iPod purse. And none of them seem to have any problems other than being cute...
I'm pretty sure the cutout is worth more than the purse.
I'd like to see some crappy gadgets exploding.

For some reason I look at that and think of a gay transformer.
I am sure that a gay transformer would have style...this is more of a drag queen transformer.
Does that mean it only plays songs like "I will survive" and songs by C&C Music Factory?
Does it work as a headset?

Just curious Engadget, how many of these crapgadget you report here are from chinese oem factory? Really just curious, not in anyway trying to flame.
For that matter, you should put the manufacture info on it, in case someone want to order a couple thousand for their online yahoo store...

I've been staring at this thing for upwards of a minute now, and for the life of me I can't figure out how it could in any way be considered a purse. All I see is cheap boombox with a fold-out cupholder and line-in.
My grandma has one of those since 1988. They look exactly the same!
What exactly makes this a purse? looks like a typical ipod/phone boombox to me.
