What I don't understand is this - it's not free to have a booth at CES. Why would you waste your time showing up with a product that you can't even *demo*? Sad and pathetic, and worthy of my vote.
Awesome, now I have an excellent base for my Post-It Note flip book archive, and it even supplies the sound tracks. Everything can have a use, you just have to find it.
So whats an 'unusual degree space function'?. I imagine the unusual degree is the angle the table is at because one leg is shorter than the others, and the space function is that you can place the gadget under this leg to stop the table wobbling.
How about 'switch off memory'? So it remembers that i switched it off. Glad it has that. I'm sick of every other gadget i have forgetting i switched it off and staying on and wasting the battery

I'm not sure why the negativity. This is a new technology called e-paper. I heard about it before. It's supposed to look just like paper except the "images" or text on it can change electronically. I haven't seen it in person yet, but supposedly alot of companies are looking into using it like to replace newspapers and stuff (or have newspapers update throughout the day). They'll look pretty similar to normal regular paper newspspers.
Now, I'm not sure why the tape, but it could be to make it look more like real paper, or that's just the temporary way they mount it.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
Is it SSD?
Judging by the photo, I won't touch this "thorny issue".
Meh... at least the OS isn't Vista
emmm wat happens when the scotch tape loses the stickiness after a day or half? do we have to send it back for replacement tapes?
It's not user-replaceable tape. You send it back to Apple, and you get new tape for $99.
did anyone notice it has a free U disk?? wow!!

This is obviously a MOCK-UP of a product, not the actual product!
Do you guys wander around Best Buy picking up the demo cell phones wondering why they won't dial out, or why the display doesn't change, as well?
It's a concept for what the final product should look like. It's poorly done, but that's what we're seeing here.
