Love is in the air...
Sweet sweet love.
Apple love.
Some more vaporware from Apple, great.
Vaporware? As far as i can see Apple has overdelivered on all that has ever been speculated on....
It's the smell of products that are priced twice what they are actually worth.
Could be apple wireless network too, didn't they said something like that before?
iMStoned?
Wish I was, but I digress.
No doubt the rumours of a Mac Ultra Portable are true and it has 3G/HSDPA built-in as will the new iPhone(bummer for any early adopters). More than likely a 32GB iPod Touch - possibly even 64GB for lots of wonga.
A2DP for the iphone
MacBook Air. That's all I'm saying. go ahead and make fun of me. You'll come crawling back tuesday
i realy wanna go there~
my friend had a ticket.
but has a meeting that day so isn't going.
we're not friends anymore
It will probably never happen but it would be interesting if Apple were to release something based on Purple1, their first iPhone prototype based on the original iPod. Clickwheel, no touchscreen, no internet, no fancy apps just an integration of mediaplayer and phone. Would make a nice low-budget product (relatively speaking, it is still Apple of course).

Imagine being able to access your computers information without having to sync with iTunes and dock your device?
Or signing onto iChat on your iPhone and communicating with your buddies lists' on their computers at home?
Ever wanted to show a friend a picture you took but you were not at home? What if you could access iPhoto from your iPhone and stream the picture to your iPhone/iPod touch?
What if you have an 8GB iPhone, but 32GB of music and videos? What if you could stream your music collection to your iPhone and not have to worry about what playlists to bring?
What if you forgot to bring the newest Keynote presentation to work? what if you could grab it from the folder on your iMac at home-while never leaving work?
well Apple is about to announce the ability to do All of those and much more. We call it AIR. AIR is a new communications standard developed by Apple that combines two great apple innovations-.Mac and Bonjour. Using the built in WiFi and data connections of the iPhone, iPod touch and MacBooks, Apple has changed the way we access our information.
.Mac has been apples way of getting its customers to share their lives with friends and family online. You can show off pictures, store your webpages and even back up data online. Its got a great e-mail client and with Leopard you can access other computers on the same network and even from work or any other internet connected Mac. So we took the idea or non local access and combined it with bonjour to create a virtual tether from your computer at home or work to your portable devices. There is no wires, no cables to plug in; its in the air floating in the cloud if you will. AIR really is the ultimate integration of everything we have developed at Apple.
So what does it look like? AIR is integrated into the settings of all software. Its not really a seperate program but rather, it's integrated into OS X itself. So in iPhoto you can go to the menu and choose "send over AIR" and a list will pop up of all the devices that have been paired to that machine.
When your device is receiving data, an icon will appear in the menu bar that says "On The AIR". Its like what you would see on a television studio stage when they are broadcasting. So think Bluetooth but with an unlimited range. It really is the next generation of data transfer.
