With my experience with this technology thus far (installed about 20 units or so, plus about 40 N adapters), I have found that it doesn't seem to matter if it's "draft" or not!
The cost is as low on market entry as the high end G units (no pun there :P)
You will find that it's nothing like the newest cutting edge technolgies in the price aspect.
Netgear is the first to release dual band N technology (see their site for the adapters and routers). Most of the regular retail shops like Future Shop/Best Buy/Staples, etc. will not be carrying this level of technology for some time (they're a bit slow on the uptake of bleeding edge technology).
